Bar & Restaurant

Formerly a hotel and dating back to the 19th century, the Inn once served the old 'Taunton to Barnstaple' railway and still retains great old-world charm, including inglenook fireplaces and beamed ceilings. We specialise in real ales, fine wines and delicious home-cooked food, served 7 days a week.

You can eat in the bar area or in the adjacent non-smoking area. Our large Beer Garden provides a pleasant alternative in the summer months. We also cater for private parties and functions.

There is a family room available with a pool table and children's games machines.

Mixing the old comfortably with the new, we also have a large plasma screen TV in the main bar area showing various sporting events throughout the year. Perfect for the sports fan in the family.
